By comparing the food consumption patterns in Vietnam during the xx century (1940 - 2000) it is shown that there was no change in characteristics of Vietnamese food consumption pattern through different periods up to 1990.

Aims: To investigate the nutritional status of outpatients with type 2 diabetes at Quang Xuong District General Hospital, Thanh Hoa in 2022. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 400 outpatients. A cross-sectional analytic study was conducted aimed to assess actual rate of overweight-obesity among rural adults aged 25-64 and to investigate factors related to overweight-obesity. Methods: A cross sectional study was conducted on women aged 40-65 years with BMI ≥ 23 kg/m2 in Hanoi, 2016. Results: The average age was approximately 52 years old with BMI= 25.6±3.8 kg/m2. The dietary energy level of the study subjects was 1628 (1589,2; 1705,5) kcal /person/day.
