The study which carried out on 1488 adult subjects aged 20-70 years in the hospital 198 showed that: The prevalence of hypertension was high with 16.8% of total subjects, among which this prevalence of 20.9% in men were significantly higher than that of 9.9% in women (P<0.001).

A cross-sectional analytic study was conducted aimed to assess actual rate of overweight-obesity among rural adults aged 25-64 and to investigate factors related to overweight-obesity. The results showed that: The rate of to overweight-obesity among rural Bac Giang, Bac Ninh and Quang Ninh adults aged 25-64 was 13.9% in average, 15.6% in men and 12.0% in women.
Recently the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Republic of Korea, announced the “Dietary Guidelines for Korean Adults (DGKA),” which includes ten Dietary Goals, six Dietary Guidelines, and twenty-three Action Guidelines. Aims: To describe actual food intake of women aged 40-65 years with BMI ≥ 23 kg/m2 in Hanoi, 2016. Methods: A cross sectional study was conducted on women aged 40-65 years with BMI ≥ 23 kg/m2 in Hanoi, 2016. Results: The average age was approximately 52 years old with BMI= 25.6±3.8 kg/m2. The dietary energy level of the study subjects was 1628 (1589,2; 1705,5) kcal /person/day.
