Implementing the cooperation commitment between the National Institute of Nutrition, Nam Dinh University of Nursing - Vietnam and Jumonji University, Aomori University - Japan on coordination in training bachelors of nutrition; implementing the 2018-2019 school year plan approved by the principal of Nam Dinh University of Nursing; on September 24, 2018, the Opening Ceremony of the first bachelor of nutrition course and the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Nam Dinh University of Nursing, National Institute of Nutrition - Vietnam with Jumonji University and Aomori University - Japan were held at Nam Dinh University of Nursing.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of the National Institute of Nutrition, there were Prof. Dr. Le Danh Tuyen - Director; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lam; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Thu Hien; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Thi Thu Huong, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thi Nhung. On behalf of Nam Dinh University of Nursing, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Tung - Principal; Dr. Ngo Huy Hoang - Vice Principal; Dr. Truong Tuan Anh - Vice Principal; Heads of Departments, Faculties and Centers; students of the first nutrition class and representatives of parents. On behalf of Jumonji University - Japan, there were Prof. Shigeru Yamamoto. On behalf of Aomori University - Japan, there were Prof. Nobuo Yoshiike and Dr. Shikanai.

Also at the opening ceremony, the National Institute of Nutrition, Nam Dinh Nursing University - Vietnam and Jumonji University, Aomori University - Japan signed a memorandum of understanding based on the principle of equality, aiming to improve the quality of research and training of the three parties and promote friendship between Japan and Vietnam. The Opening Ceremony of the first Bachelor of Nutrition course and the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding took place successfully. The parties expressed their willingness and commitment to make every effort so that the Bachelor of Nutrition training program at Nam Dinh Nursing University will be successful in developing human resources in nutrition towards improving the nutritional status and health of the Vietnamese people.
