Primary school students are mainly between the ages of 7 and 11. There are many important psychological and physiological changes that take place during this stage:

  • Children's perception, memory, imagination and thinking develop more strongly and richly.

  • Children's emotional and sentimental life strongly influences their activities and perceptions. Especially with their innocence, children always aim for joy and positive emotions.

  • Their behavior also imitates those close to them. With their hyperactive nature, difficulty in self-control, and low willpower, they often lose concentration, have difficulty controlling themselves, and are prone to making mistakes.

  • Children play more physical and social games instead of playing with toys like in kindergarten.

Therefore, folk games for primary school students need to be selected to suit the age group where "learning while playing" is considered the main activity.
