Exercise is important for children's health. Activities such as playing sports (e.g. badminton and soccer), cycling, jogging and dancing are all good forms of exercise. Even activities such as running around, playing in the park or helping parents with housework are good for children's bodies!


At home
 
• Help parents with housework (e.g. sweeping, washing dishes and hanging clothes) 
• Clean their room
• Gardening (moving potted plants, pruning and watering plants)
• Help parents wash the car

At school
 
• Participate in extracurricular activities at school such as singing and dancing.
• Learn martial arts such as Karate, taekwondo, silat, etc.
• Attend physical education and health classes (PE).
• Participate in extracurricular activities such as playing the following sports / games: 

 - Basketball
 - Netball
 - Indoor Soccer
 - Football
 - Badminton
 - Swimming
 - Volleyball

 At the park
 
• Play in the playground
• Walk, bounce, climb
• Run
• Jump
• Ride a bike

At the mall

• Help mom carry things
• Help mom push a shopping cart
• Use the stairs instead of the elevator
